interconnects

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

recently i've been trying different interconnects. i had been using discovery plus 4. then i tried luminous synchrestra reference. these cables are tighter, quieter than the plus 4's the problem is i think they may lack some midrange. i'm looking for suggestions. i'd like to spend less than $300 on a pair. some thoughts in my head are cardas neutral or golden reference, transparent, xlo, shunyata. i need help.
