Home Cable Asylum

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

Nothing is wrong with your system if you like what you hear...

the cables are system dependant.

I don't care for the Type 4 or 8 and prefer a Belden Studio wire or OTA ( very thin copper wire ) for the money mainly for a better clarity and timing. They seem to smother less treble energy over the AQs.

My favourite cheap all-rounder with my valve gear is a Kimber 8TC altho, I've a feeling if you like the 4TC, you probably wouldn't care for it.

For a solid state amp, Naim NACA5 ( 10 bucks a foot? ) works with *some* but not all amplifires.

You'd probably love the DNM wire. Anther cheap alternative for a solid state amplifire.

I don't think there is no one-size-fit-all cables for all the systems ( and listners ).
