You are correct.Where I come from, the hospitals would only order IG when they ordered hospital grade, otherwise they use regular spec grade. This is because the insertion/pullout force for the hospital grade was just too high for everyday use. You are right though, they are orange and have a triangle on them. These 8300's are Ivory.
I got them mixed up. It has bee a long while since I sold wiring devices.
