Home Cable Asylum

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

Agree with Chris

Do NOT under any circumstance endanger yourself or others by using this cable as a power cable. It just isn't strong enough to handle the heat, current, and wear that is expected of AC cables. I am an electrician who has seen plenty of over loaded cables in my day and they are usually approved for high current use. But overload is overload and inherently unstable and dangerous.

I also use the CHeLA cables as speaker cables and love them.

If you want to DIY a power cable Chris has great cable for sale that not only is safe, but sounds great.
