Mixing NBS Omega with other cables

Hello,
I have NBS Omega I throughout my hifi set-up and I learned that with this cable it does not make make sense to mix it at least with other NBS cables. For instance, when I upgraded my interconnect and speaker cables to NBS Omega I, but left the powerchords for the amp and cd player unchanged (NBS Monitor III) it did not work. I had to upgrade the powerchords to NBS Omega I as well and now I'm in a sonically different league.

In the meantime I bought Shunyata's Hydra-8 (which requires a 20A connector) and I'm wondering which powerchord to use between the wall socket and Hydra-8. I would love to be able to connect all components on the Hydra-8, but with the current loaned cable my Krell 300iL int.amp doesn't like; I have to run it separately and directly to the wall if I don't want to loose the dynamics; all the rest is connected to the Hydra-8.

So the question to you is : which powerchord to buy for the Hydra-8 and bearing in mind that I have NBS Omega I ? As mentioned above, I would love to be able to connect all gear on the Hydra-8. Would for instance Shunyata's Anaconda Helix Alpha or Elrod-3 Sign (or Statement) do ? Or should I get another NBS Omega I ? It is a tough call as I don't have the chance to audition any of the above-listed cables....
