For an $1,800 preamp to deserve a power cord priced at nearly half it's price might seem silly to someNot silly at all, Duster....
I use both a power cable and speaker cable (each) costing far in excess (like many multiples) of my ~$300 kit amp. It sounds silly good, however. :--)
