After more time in my system; I came to think that perhaps the Oyaide P-046 AC plug's "transparent naturalness" was in fact, too analytical for my listening wants, and wondered if my concern about the P-046 taking the SWO-XXX outlet over-the-top might be true. Swapping out the P-046 with the previous Furutech FI-11M (Cu) AC plug has shown this to be true to my ear, at least. The Furutech FI-11M (Cu) AC plug has a warmer, more musical presentation when mated to the Oyaide SWO-XXX in my system. While not as transparent in absolute terms as with the Oyaide P-046, the FI-11M (Cu)'s more relaxed sound is more to my taste as used in this application. I'll try the Oyaide P-046 downstream at the end of the AC path on another power cord where it might provide excellent synergy with the SWO-XXX wall outlet upstream. A DIY VH Audio Flavor 3 power cord that feeds my CD transport is a good candidate, I expect...
