Chris VH has forgotten more about power cords than I ever knew but it becomes a matter of budget. IF you can afford the flavor 4 power cord WITHOUT cutting back on your upgrade to your CD player ,then I don't see how you could lose.FOR ME ( with an Arcam CD72T ) it would take a very significant upgrade in CD player to justify the significant price difference between the two power cords.
