I would stick with the Diamondback, exercise discipline, and wait until I could afford the Anaconda Helix Alpha. Skip all of the intermediate steps. The intermediate steps will only set you back (both time-wise and financially) from the ultimate goal.

If you get an AHA now, yes, you'll perform gymnastic stunts you didn't think you were capable of. BUT. The AHA also makes a lot of sense, because, should you decide to upgrade your gear, the AHA is right there, maximizing the performance of whatever you use it with.
