For supplement sharing of my experience, in my system, the bi-wire speaker cables Ecosse ES2.3+CS2.15 are combinedly used at the 2-way speaker side by jumper lugs. I find, by this way some bi-wire cables would get the highest performance than they are bi-wiring used seperatedly for the high and low end. I think the reason is simple, each wire has its individual merit, seperated usage would seperate their merits but combined method would consolidate their advantages. The result is perfectly matching the power cables and IC, more transparency, beautiful frequency response and airy for vocal.
