Re: Airsine ecstacy! mini review

I second the motion! I got mine and burned it in on my cdp and straight out of the bag, Wow. I never would have believed it. I"ve tried lesser pc's and been unimpressed to the point that I was beginning to think it was snake oil, but after being very impressed with the "good changes" that Chris's fine silver ic's made in my system, replacing Cardas Ref.,Kimber , I thought I'd give the airsines a try. Man, I believe, I believe! Great imaging, very real instrument presentation. Removes most if not all mechanical sounding artifacts( loses alot of the reproduced sound ,blurring of the air between instruments) that seem to restrain the other components in the system from expressing their potential. It made my cheepo Cal Audio dx1 so much better, it approched the sound of my modded Sony scd777es.
The improvements to my CJ premier 140 wasn't as dramatic but the same improvements can be heard just to a much lesser degree. I listen primarily to vinyl so it will stay on the amp but when funds allow, I'll certainly buy one or two more.
To conclude, I can't imagine that spending anywhere near the intro price could improve an under 1k cdp as much as this pc. And on the other hand, I have no urge to upgrade this pc on my 7k CJ amp. I've thought about trying Chris's lesser pc' but, life's too short to experiment with everything in my system. I'd rather spend the time and energy on my vinyl rig.
