RE: What did Fred Flintstone drive? Age is as age does. nt

Lots of OK choices from my birth year.
But I don't want ANYTHING with portholes. My automotive values are such that I can't see myself in ANY of that iron. I drove a '56 Chrysler Windsor for a couple years. What a barge. Kind of liked my '73 Super Beetle better for a number of reasons....not the least of which was ease of parking, lower running costs and comfott for JUST TWO.......
If Limited to 'cars up to your 20th birthday? choices open up a lot and than it gets into collectible territory. Maybe an Impala SS427 Convertible 4-spd?

But if limited to something I had to DRIVE EVERY DAY and could only own ONE CAR? Balance changes and maybe go for the 'practical' end of the spectrum......I'd like to SEE a good condition '66 Plymouth Satellite with 383 2bbl and auto trans. Don't want a 'resto-mod' that CAME with a 318 and now has a 440 or hemi. Not interested in 'speed' but want a turnkey runner.
Too much is never enough
