treated. Education. Health. Incarceration. We have a lot of work to do. It ain't a zero sum game.Who's to blame for the fact the middle-class hasn't gained any economic ground in 30 years. Black folks? Or is it a collapse of wages? The wealthiest Americans have grown even fatter. For the 50s and part of the 60s, they fattened up more slowly, and everyone profited.
Remember Henry Ford raising his auto workers' wages in what, the 20s? He understood that if he didn't pay higher wages, no one could afford to buy his car--- he made a conscious decision to be an example.
