I had a coworker leave my US focused company to join a global company, he lives in Kansas City, managed to get married mid 40s, have a family works from home 99% of the time and makes quadruple the salary he made at my company with less stress and aggravation.
I'm looking into it. I agree there is a downside, if I play my cards right this will work out.
