Hi, I found an Electrohome saucer stereo on ebay. It sure does look nifty, but the speakers are not what I am thinking of. On "my" speakers (I dont have them) there really isnt any apparent "front" to the enclosure, it is perfectly spherical. THe slots I talked about are apparently ports for bass (the larger one facing the rear) and treble, ( the smaller one in the front) THe pedestal stand was a simple ring stand with three legs that the ball sat in (with the wires coming out the bottom). I will check out some period High Fidelity magazines to see if I can come up with something. Not really a big deal, it has just been bugging me for several years!Thanks, Doug Eisemann
