Interfaces' came with an eq. It really makes the speakers nice.First, it has a three position high frequency adjustment at 10K. Down 1.5 dB is setting 3, Flat is setting 2, and up 1.5 dB is setting 1.
The unit has a 6dB/18dB Octave boost at 35 hZ, and a subsonic filter that is 24dB/Octave below 16 hZ to keep record warp from robbing power.
I Purchased the eq from a Hi Fi store that was going out of business.
I remember the speakers well. The tweeter is made by Peerless and is the same unit that was used in McIntosh speakers of that era. The passive radiator could use another 20 grams of mass for better low-end matching.
Without the eq...they were good speakers. With it, they compared favorbly with The Heil AMT1.
