Maybe I'm mistaken, but I would think a musician's earplugs would try to maintain as flat a frequency response as possible. The ad for these things seems to boil down to "these filter sounds between 2-8 KHz."

As for their claims that these reduce "distortions in the human ear" and result in "higher definition audio... giving ears a natural 'audio upgrade'" - color me skeptical.
