All from the advice of audio forum posters, for the arm and platter mechanisms I used Super Lube 21030 synthetic grease.
For the motor I initially used Super Lube 51010 synthetic oil, but then replaced that with LA-CO zoom spout turbine oil.
Should I make an effort to clean any remaining oil from the motor? I have to be honest, running a dry motor makes me very nervous.
