RE: 1966 Gibson Explorer amp update.

Hey FL maybe you can tell me why neither pickup is very sensitive to the 1st string on a Gibson SGJ? It has pickup covers that hide the magnets -- is it likely they are mounted too low? Sorry to bug you.
