Re: List your vintage collection !!

32.97.239.13

Main System:
Turntables: AR XA with Merrill Mods/SME 3009-II/Signet TK3e?; Dual 1229
Integrated Amplifier: Eico HF-81, believe the hype
Speakers: 1972 Klipsch Cornwall II, astounding but cramped by basement setting
CD Player is an Early 90s Kenwood from the thrift store, chosen primarily based on BULK. Heavy extruded metal dampened case, digital outs. Cries out, "POOGE ME!" (Been listening almost exclusively to vinyl)

Miscellaneous:
Forget what model Grundig console, pretty impressive multiband tuner; pervasive HUM needs attention
2 Stereo SE-EL84 Power Amps from Magnavox Consoles, really great sounding!
Stereo PP-EL84 Power Amp, also a Magnavox
Stereo PP-6V6 Power Amp from a Lowery? organ. I've never heard this one: needs an 0A2 and testing.
Akai GXC-760D, Three heads three motors also built like a TANK
Akai GX-F71, another nice 3 head deck, more modern than the above
Another Akai three head deck, don't remember the model, console-style with the controls on top.
Sony CDP-400 (1983), built like a TANK
Late 60's/Early 70's Sony STR-6046 Receiver; going Pre-out into one of the SE-EL84s
Hitachi Reel Deck
A few more Duals including a backup 1229

A certain amount of this stuff will eventually work its way on to ebay, but WAF or no WAF the Eico and the Cornwalls will be ripped only from my cold dead fingers!
