Re: 1 of the most interesting and Possible, rare vintage speakers I've seen in a while!

Agree with Henry on local pick-up only, Brian. Found 'em listed in that Allied/Ratio Shaq 1971 wish book headlined:"New Fisher omni-directional 3-way Speaker System"; subhead:"Designed to disperse balanced stereo sound in all directions"; description:"Model WS-80. New at Allied. Fisher omni-directional floor system featuring 8" woofer with slot-loading deflector for full 360 degree bass dispersion. 5 3/4" midrange directs smooth mid-frequencies through top and sides of enclosure. 3" tweeter sends pure highs upward and around cabinet. Two-position level control. 35-20,000hz. Capacity, 30 watts. Walnut cabinet. 18 3/4"x18"x11". 24 lbs. $99.95 each". It had a WS-70 sibling, with a 6" woof, for $79.95 each. Sounds like it would make for an interesting rear-channel project.
