Abe, i've never really spent much time with this tuner. I bought it based on a few recommendations, hooked it up to make sure it worked and then had to pull it out of the system very shortly after that. When i had it running, it sounded pretty decent but it was only up and running for a few days at most. I'm sure that with some more time on it, it would sound a bit better.As for the "B", this was something that i added. These came in either Silver or Black and mine is Black : ) Sean
