Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

My recall after testing my Sangean was it did not have flat response out of the analog RCAs or on the digital out through the DAC. The flatness problem was done in the digital filters. I would try it first with a borrowed DAC before buying one.
