RE: Tellurium Copper Metallurgy question

I've used Edison Price Music Posts for decades now, and while they are darker due to oxidation, the area where the post and nut makes contact with a spade is not oxidized. I have not tried to remove the oxidation other than at the contact area, nor will I do such. If your Edison Price Music Posts show severe signs of oxidation where they make contact with connectors, I would use an old toothbrush with a dab of Brasso to scrub the area, then thoroughly clean the area with Caig DeoxIT. You have a great-sounding set of classic unplated binding posts. Enjoy!
