RE: Williamson revisited


I finally got around to some measurements. Square wave response was OK/good with some 60khz ripple and about a 5% overshoot; this I will try to clear up by damping the output xfmr, or using a feedback bypass cap.

Power output from the 8ohm tap is about 12 watts into 8 ohms, 15 watts into 5ohms and 9 watts into 10oms, from 20-20Khz. It doesn't crap out into varying speaker loads. It sounds good as it is, but still needs some more tinkering.
