I don't see anything to indicate that this is a line operated device. In the photo he posted, the power trans is on the right, the dual OPT is on the left, and there's a filter choke in the middle. That's what it looks like to me, anyway. The hookup diagram stuck to the top of the OPT definitely shows stereo in and out.
