It's very similar to the issue with cable and wire that carry the "audio signal" anywhere in the system. The cable and wire are affected by external vibration that affects the sound quality you eventually hear coming out of the speakers.

Pop quiz: what is the "audio signal" in cables and wires? And what does vibration do to the "audio signal?"
