I unistalled the old Roon Core from the NAS and found the Beta installation bits for use under DSM 7. DSM 7 required some share permission changes and firewall port changes for Roon Core and Roon database backups to work properly. The new Synology DSM 7 (like every new OS out there) is much tighter with security. So far so good!
