I've used iTunes for years. On my laptop, phone, and iPad. I've never bought a single piece of music from Apple.
And yes there are apps you can buy to make FLAC work right?
Nothing will be all things to all people. Never. Remember that we are the outliers here. But yet we can still make the hardware and software do much of what we want.
I consider that progress.
