Mine ended up being a bit of a puzzle to assemble, but I like the solidity and visibility of the layered clear acrylic. It also came with adhesive backed heat sinks for the three hottest chips and wall mounting holes which I use in its garage closet setting.

The second photo is using a Jameco linear with ferrite toroidal core using standard S/PDIF. I later moved to using batteries and optical. And finally, the entire modest system using another battery with Music Hall DAC 25.3 and Crown XLS-1500 driving modified New Advents.
