yes, lots of features. Your paying for great high end software, great high end hardware and a warranty.
You get what you pay for. If that had AES/EBU I would consider buying one.
I'm happy with my modded Sonos connect, also the RP DIY route is fun, but that's all it is is fun, not professional.
It is a nightmare to get all the streaming services on linux systems. You need to invest in software developers and partnerships with the web services and license APIs. That's where the costs come in.
