RE: Gave Pi Core one more try

Hmmh. Sounds like frustration.

Yep. As with every new project - DIY projects in particular - there'll be a steep learning curve.

And that's why I mentioned and listed even links before, where to
communicate your problems. You'll get help over there.

Your outbursts won't help anybody!

I now installed the 3.20 PcP Beta 5 - Audio, first time with LMS and also NFS (to load the audio files over net) to see myself how things are going.

To get NFS going I also had to add additional filesystems btw.
It took me 10 minutes to get it all up'n running and playing!

Of course I know what I'm doing. I do have to admit that Dynabots videos
or the PcP help are all but perfect!

I guess one of your main issues was, that you didn't resize the file system in the very beginning.
If the system runs out of space weird things can happen.
That 50MB PcP image obviously doesn't have much space to spare.

Before you start loading any SW onto that device you need to
increase that filesystem space under Advanced config.
Just use the full SD card.

It also seems that you're using an older resp a different version from what I'm using. Your logs refer to kernel 4.4.39. My installation comes with 4.9.17.

Bottom line. Calm down and get your head on straight.

And one more advise: If you want people to support you, attitude and information matters!

Good luck.
