But WHY?

Why Volumio? Does it sound better than PcP? Other than DSD which I have none of on my music drives on any of my computers, is there anything else. It's just a $5 uSD card away, but what will it do?

Not at all dissatisfied with the sound of RasperryP1/HiFiBerry Digi+ PcP player combination streaming music from the hard drive on my headless Mac Mini. Just ripped the above CD to the hard drive and it sounds fantastic as is.

Still lots of tweaks yet to try (real LPS, Digi+ Pro, maybe solder in some I2S lines?)

And why no help? Help is GOOD! :-)
