Raspberry Pi/HiFi Berry all the time!

No breaks for golf or Wyre4Sound SONOS upgrades allowed. :-)

Finally got LMS to run on my headless Mac Mini and find (most) of the music on the LaCie Thunderbolt 2 drive that the cats are continuously knocking over. Sounding VERY good streaming ripped CDs.

SOOOOOO much better sounding on the USB Battery Pack than the wall wart.

Running now for 24 hours on the fully-charged-this-time 24,000 mAh USB battery pack with still a full charge (4 lights) indication. Going for 72 hours this time. If I can run for 3-4 days on a charge, I'm good.

So now I guess the next upgrade would be the Digi+ Pro board? How much better sound should I expect with the Digi+ Pro vs. just the Digi+?

I must say, if the Wyred4Sound modded SONOS Connect is HUGELY better than the Raspberry Pi/HiFi Berry streaming ripped CDs from drive on a computer attached to the network I guess I'm going to out $500 sooner or later. :-(

First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass
