Got my much-loved and substantially improved Atma-Sphere MA-1s (v.3.1) reconnected, and they sound fabulous*.. I keep listening to the three poweramps that are candidates for my incoming HHR Exotic TLS-2s, rather insensitive at about 86dB.. I have far more poweramps than I need and am (slowly) selling the lower-powered (as in c. 30 Watts) ones.

The candidates for the TLS-2s (see link) are the 60Watts-per-chassis Allnic A-6000s (on the lowboy), the 140Watts-per-chassis MA-1s, and my 2nd pair of 600Watts-into-8-per-chassis PS Audio M1200s.. They all sound at least very good driving the MR and treble of the 96dB-sensitive Super-7s in the pic, but I always end up with a huge smile on my face when the A-Ts are making music.

I think I'll leave them in until the TLS-2s get here in early December. :-)

* When driving the Super-7s, I use only 4 pairs of output tubes.
