Well, perhaps it was myself that had too thin a skin and jumped to conclusions. I appreciate the concern and will look at it as good advice. BTW, what is likely to happen if I hook the amp up to 4 ohm speakers? Is the amp unstable into these loads? Will it reduce the lifetime of the amp by frying the output coupling capacitors you mentioned? I was curious because I read a Stereophile review on the Fourier Sans Pareil amps and they drove quite a lot of wattage into loads as low as 2 ohms. I am not overly concerned about bass because I have a separate powered subwoofer. Thanks.
