The mass of photos isn't anywhere near the mass of framed pictures. The walls vibrate with or without photos taped to them so you can ignore the photos' vibration. But don't get hung up on the photos. Take all the pictures in the house outside and see if that improves the sound. If the sound improves you can figure out why later.
