Ross--- Do you have a Radio Shack meter? If you have one measure the peaks at your listening seat when listening at what you consider loud and post the numbers here or email me with them.I had a pair of speakers that where SET friendly and 92 db rated. In my room I listen at 96-98 db peaks (sometimes louder) measured at my listening position at times and the 300b's didn't cut it. (98db BTW is pretty darn loud)
