Do you have a SAMPLE of the material to be glued?
I'm assembling an RC airplane using, in part, something called 'Goop'.
This stuff is way sticky.
And the plane is made from EPP. Expanded Poly Propylene. A 1.3# or 1.9# per cubic foot density.
Some of the Hot Glues (low temp) may work, as well, if you can apply a 'patch' to the split.
Gluing something like a speaker cone on an 'Edge to Edge' basis sounds difficult to make durable.
