RE: Compression driver to horn gasket?

without the gasket they is likely going to be a gap or at best a poor transition. The gasket is there to make a seal between the driver and the horn. Don't over tighten there should only be enough pressure to make for a snug fit. If you over tighten the gasket will bulge and distort the flair rate which should ideally be continuous from the driver to horn. Look also that the id of the gasket is the same as the od or exit of the driver which should also match the id of the horn throat. Happy trails.
