I obtained an old speaker recently that has several small holes in the paper pleating of the surround. I repaired them with acrylic caulking compound, which seems to have worked well. However, I am concerned about more holes/cracks developing due to age. Is there something I can apply to the surround to prevent more cracks from developing? TIA for any advice.
