will have to find the funky HF horn and driver for it which fit on top - the blue Frazier eight inch woofer eaten by mice. I don't know where the vent tunnel goes - probably is a back chamber vent connected by the slot above the internal throat section. I had measured input impedance many years ago when the cone was intact but forgot plus the Speaker Workshop graphs are gone. - so assume it is a vent (and mouse entrance)I'll have to order batteries for my camera.
some descriptions say the Dixielander used a 10". There's no room in this particular cabinet for a 10". Did some Dixielanders use a 10" woofer? The Dixielander Jr. by the brochure I've seen had a little HF horn mounted on the front face of its cabinet.
the central cone diffusor-cone is cool.
maybe a Delta pro8 would work (if not too efficient)
the vent is placed as with this nabbed picture
