RE: RCA

Kloss, as you know this was the Altec Lansing loudspeaker product line circa 1941 or 1942. I have stood in that spot in recent years and photographed the building; it has not even been painted inside since those days. The white square which looks like a piece of paper on the floor is actually a patch to the concrete slab; it has blended in nicely in the 70 years since the picture was taken. Note the third system from the front: it is a small 800Hz. theatre system utilizing Iconic components. It would have to be considered an A7 ancestor, though I've never seen one of these turn up in the modern era.
