if you are using windows or apple, I recommend dbpoweramp, I'll put a link below:
it is $39 a license for 1 PC, definitely affordable, I would also recommend ripping the CDs to FLAC with compression level 0.
The CD softwares all differ in ripping quality, dbpoweramp takes care of that and there are settings in there you can click to get the best from your CDs.
I've been ripping CDs since around 1993.
