RE: Oppo 205 scuppered my plans...

I'm surprised the Oppo UDP-205 doesn't have HDCD decoding. Are you sure?

I own the older BDP-105D and it has HDCD decoding. I'm playing a HDCD as I write and it says HDCD on the screen. I went into the setup menu and it said that HDCD decoding is turned on.

That's too bad they didn't include HDCD in their new 205.

Oh, well. Such is life!
