However I don't regard Orasteam Brio as a streaming service in the same manner as the old Classics Online or even Tidal or Qobuz. It seems to be more of a server application which allows access to a personal music database remotely. I don't know why one would wnat this facility but I suppose someone does.
To me it looks like the Naxos streaming availabilty is just an added benefit to encourage takeup of the Brio server/streamer application which, as I say, has the main purpose of listening to one's own music library. Of course Klaus Heyman already has a server full of his catalogue in a form ready to stream but without a distribution capability. That isn't the situation with other record companies.
