Why not have both?

I have a pair of HiFiMan DEVA...comes with 24/192 'balanced' BT adapter + balanced wired. Open air Planar Magnetic

On-the-go, I use a pair of Cowin E7 headphones...also BT and/or Wired [your choice]. The E7's are closed back and can be activated to be noise-cancelling so they fit the bill pretty good for on-the-go headphones. Nothing audiophile about them, just pretty good sound while I'm out and about.
