If it were me I would first get a 2 phono jack to 4 pin female XLR adaptor made. No big sweat to do. The cable linking the connectors need only be a few centimetres long. I had one made for 2 x 3 pin female XLR to 4 pin female XLR so I can drive my HD 600s balanced. That will then give you a lot of choices for balanced cable including a Sennheiser HD800 one ( which has the most elegant looking XLR connector).

As for aftermarket cables then there is no guarantee at all that any will be better than the original supplied. Unless you have direct and reasonably lengthy experience of an alternative then all is down to serendipity. You may as well pick with a pin.

NB: Sennheiser cables for the high end models are way better than they used to be and I am sceptical about many of the aftermarket alternatives.
