You and Analog Scott can trump-up LP all you want and for what it's worth, I actually support retro-comebacks. The current wave started in the 90s with classic baseball stadiums (w/ real grass). And it continued with the pay phone, pinball machines, old brand names and roller skates.

(New) restaurants are going classic brick-and-wood w/ higher ceilings and new homes include porches.

But none of these (except stadiums and kids-on-skates) are very popular. Hundreds of videos could be (by) 100 people.

It's sound quality, not retro-ness that concerns these forums. Or so I thought. And digital is way ahead here. Every home in America has digital. And 98% of audio reviewers have it. Most of (those) prefer it to LP.
