I do not have experience with tConrad-Johnson's MF-2550, so I am not at liberty to comment. Offline, you can ask me about the Sonographe SA250 and CJ MF-2250A.As long as you use suitably honest, neutral, transparent after-market powercord and fuses, the Conrad-Johnson ET-250S, on a sonic basis, is relatively true to the source. That means it will reflect what is upstream, and then tell you what your speakers (at the mercy of the room, of course) sound like.
